Originally from Wisconsin—and still a lifelong Packers fan—I have had the privilege of working in and serving the Arlington community for over 10 years. I live in Dallas, but the people, energy, and opportunities in our corner of DFW are close to my heart and I am proud to help our community.
Outside of Dentistry I’m into cooking, fishing, hunting, and (literally) running around Dallas. I’m also a proud geek about racing, cars, coffee, beer, and photography, but be careful if you’re crunched for time; I can talk your ear off about any of those.
I found Arlington after living, working and studying all over the country: College in Saint Louis, research outside Washington, D.C., graduate school in Miami, and dental school in Omaha, Nebraska. I’ve worked as a Dental Assistant, was a team manager behind the scenes at a dental school, performed composites research with the American Dental Association Foundation and was a class leader in Dental school. I now sit on a clinical advisory board overseeing dozens of other doctors and I’ve recently become a department director in our company. Â
My path has taught me how to truly communicate with my patients and care for people from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of needs. Â

Dr. Aleena Jamal is a proud Texas native and compassionate general dentist dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. With a lifelong passion for serving others and improving oral health, Dr. Jamal is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
After completing her undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Jamal earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Texas A&M College of Dentistry. Her strong clinical training and commitment to excellence allow her to provide comprehensive dental care focused on both long-term oral health and beautiful, healthy smiles.
Dr. Jamal combines clinical expertise with warmth and approachability, helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their dental visits. She believes dentistry should be a collaborative and empowering experience, where patients are actively involved in their care and treatment decisions. Whether restoring smiles, providing preventive care, or helping patients maintain lifelong oral health, Dr. Jamal takes pride in delivering personalized care tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.

Meet Dr Daniel Rangel, a highly experienced orthodontist.
Dr Rangel embarked on his professional journey at Loyola University Chicago School of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Continuing his quest for excellence, he pursued further education at the prestigious University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where he also taught dental students as an Associate Professor of Orthodontics. During this period he completed his residency and obtained a Master's Degree in Dental Science (MDS) in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Armed with extensive knowledge and experience, Dr Rangel specializes in handling complex orthodontic cases, consistently achieving outstanding results. Dr Rangel generously shared his knowledge and expertise as an Associate Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
Dr Rangel enjoys his free time with his wife who's a Dentist and a Masters Degree Physician Assistant in the Dallas area and visiting their four sons who are in every coast of the country. For over a decade, Dr. Garrett Nelson has been practicing oral surgery in the DFW area. Dentistry is in his family as he is a fourth-generation dentist. Dr. Nelson’s brother is an orthodontist in the Houston area and his father continues to practice dentistry at 72 years of age. Dr. Nelson is committed to the delivery of the best oral surgery treatment and experience possible.Dr. Nelson’s clinical experience includes implant dentistry where he utilizes the very latest technology in planning and delivering the very best in clinical care.Dr. Nelson studied dentistry at UCLA and studied medicine at Texas Tech. He is a native of Los Angeles but came to Texas to settle down as his new home. He completed his Oral Surgery training at Baylor in Dallas and continues to serve the oral surgery program as an Associate Clinical Professor for over ten years. Many of the current dentists throughout Dallas were once his students.Dr. Nelson has four children and lives in Frisco where he enjoys golf, travel, snow skiing and serving his church and community. His newest hobby is running several half marathons a year with his wife, Rachel.
