He completed a 3-year full-time residency at University of Southern California, Los Angeles in Advanced Periodontics and completed a Masters of Science degree in Craniofacial Biology. Dr. Kim received his dental school education at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, San Francisco.

    Dr. Kim is an expert in advanced treatment of gum disease, cosmetic procedures to aesthetically enhance smiles, and dental implants that can replace single or multiple missing teeth. Dr. Kim has lectured nationally and internationally in the topics of implantology, implants in the aesthetic area, cosmetic soft tissue plastic surgery, and periodontal treatment.

    He believes in approaching cutting-edge periodontal services with personalized care to create an excellent patient experience. He has surgically placed thousands of dental implants and conducted the most advanced surgical procedures. He enjoys getting to know his patients, happy to answer questions regarding treatment expectations and recovery. He understands that receiving periodontal treatment can be intimidating and focuses on maximizing patient comfort.
