Dr. Zerby went to high school in Richardson, Texas, graduated from Texas A&M University, and returned home to Dallas to attend Baylor College of Dentistry which he graduated from. His wife, Shannon, is a Spanish teacher at Allen High School, and they have two girls, Brenna and Angelina. He enjoys watching all Dallas area sports teams and likes to play ice hockey at the local rinks. His dental practice focuses on every area of need from simple maintenance to full smile makeovers. He is always willing to discuss openly any questions or concerns regarding your oral health.
He has many years of experience with all types of dental procedures and regularly attends continuing education courses to expand the scope of his treatment abilities. So whether you need Invisalign, whitening, dentures, endodontic procedures, or just a checkup he will be able to help you. He is attuned to his patients’ needs and does everything he can to make sure that dental treatment is performed in the most comfortable manner possible, and always welcomes discussion to make sure you are as informed as possible regarding your dental needs. He regularly receives compliments from patients who have been avoiding dental care saying that the way the treatment was done was much easier than they remember from past experiences.
For over a decade, Dr. Garrett Nelson has been practicing oral surgery in the DFW area. Dentistry is in his family as he is a fourth-generation dentist. Dr. Nelson’s brother is an orthodontist in the Houston area and his father continues to practice dentistry at 72 years of age. Dr. Nelson is committed to the delivery of the best oral surgery treatment and experience possible.Dr. Nelson’s clinical experience includes implant dentistry where he utilizes the very latest technology in planning and delivering the very best in clinical care.Dr. Nelson studied dentistry at UCLA and studied medicine at Texas Tech. He is a native of Los Angeles but came to Texas to settle down as his new home. He completed his Oral Surgery training at Baylor in Dallas and continues to serve the oral surgery program as an Associate Clinical Professor for over ten years. Many of the current dentists throughout Dallas were once his students.Dr. Nelson has four children and lives in Frisco where he enjoys golf, travel, snow skiing and serving his church and community. His newest hobby is running several half marathons a year with his wife, Rachel.
Dr. Zakia Azzo is a highly experienced general dentist who has been practicing since 1990. She specializes in restorative fillings, fixed and removable prosthodontics, Invisalign treatment, and implant crown restoration, providing comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s needs.
Dr. Azzo earned her dental degree from Damascus University, College of Dentistry in 1990 and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Texas in 2013. She further enhanced her expertise with a post-doctoral certificate in Dental Public Health from NYU Lutheran in 2015.
She is an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Public Health Association, reflecting her commitment to continued learning and evidence-based practice.
