Dr. Stephanie Onyeka, grew up in Dallas, TX but is originally from Nigeria. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at UT Austin and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Texas A&M School of Dentistry. Driven by the perfect amalgamation of creativity, science, and the ability to make a profound impact, she chose dentistry as her profession. Witnessing the life-changing transformations and the radiant smiles on her patients' faces is her favorite part of being a dentist. Outside of the office, Dr. Onyeka is a contemporary artist, fragrance collector, and cherishes moments spent with loved ones.
I believe that from the beginning, the founding doctors of DECA built a pro-patient model that provides opportunities for doctors to succeed on many different levels. The support, mentorship and team mentality truly set them/us apart from other organizations. I have spent my career trying to become the most well rounded, comprehensive dentist possible. Along the way, building teams and mentoring others to become their best while providing affordable, time efficient dental care for the whole family without compromising quality. I have known many of the DECA doctors and their families for several years. Some since dental school. I now have the privilege of not only calling them friends, but also colleagues.
Dr. Sung Han is a board-certified Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon who comes from a family of dentists. He developed an early interest in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery through his father. Inspired by before-and-after pictures of his father’s jaw surgery patients, Dr. Han also wanted to become an oral maxillofacial surgeon to help people using his hands.
He went on to receive his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University, graduating with Honors. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry in Michigan. He was invited to be a member of the OKU National Dental Honor Society and was the recipient of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) dental student award of his graduating class.
Dr. Han earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Southern California. Afterwards, he completed a 1-year General Surgery internship during which time he was nominated Resident Physician of the Month. He then finished his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center where his training focused on dentoalveolar surgery (wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting, and dental implants), oral pathology, anesthesia, facial trauma, and orthognathic surgery. His research during residency focused on in-office anesthesia and multimodal pain management.
Dr. Han is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Han is fluent in English and Korean. Outside of the office, Dr. Han enjoys singing (he was a member of a famous college A cappella group), cooking Thai and Japanese dishes, watching European soccer, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and dog.
Dr. Charmaine Thompson is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist with over 15 years of experience providing compassionate, child-focused dental care. Raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she dreamed of becoming a doctor from a young age. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she discovered her passion for working with children and decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry.
Following dental school, Dr. Thompson completed a two-year pediatric dentistry residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, further refining her expertise in creating healthy, confident smiles for young patients. She enjoys connecting with children, understanding their world, and guiding them through a positive dental experience that sets the foundation for lifelong oral health.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Thompson balances her professional life with being a dedicated mother to her three children, Aasha (8), Jase (2), and Jayden (6 months). In her spare time, she enjoys reading, shopping, and traveling with her partner, Jose.
Dr. Ben Garagozloo is passionate about endodontics and helping patients achieve relief from tooth pain while restoring their oral health. With over 15 years of clinical excellence, he is known for his personalized, precise care that puts patient comfort first.
His journey in dentistry began early, leading him to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he also completed his Endodontic Residency.
With thousands of successful cases, Dr. Garagozloo combines expertise and precision to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients. His extensive experience across Nevada, Arizona, and now Texas includes treating a wide range of cases, from routine root canals to complex endodontic procedures. His expertise in relieving pain, preserving natural teeth, and performing precise treatments has consistently earned him the trust and respect of both patients and colleagues. His attention to detail and dedication to patient satisfaction set him apart as a leader in his field.
Beyond his practice, Dr. Garagozloo is a devoted husband and father of four, whose family remains his greatest priority and source of inspiration. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children, as well as his beloved dogs. His philanthropic efforts center on helping dogs in need, reflecting his compassion and dedication to making a difference in his community.
