What Is the Advantage of Having Fewer Implants with All-on-4® Dental Implants?

With fewer implants, you are less likely to need a sinus augmentation or bone graft. Getting All-on-4® dental implants is faster as well, because of the reduced healing time.

Are All-on-4 Dental Implants Less Expensive than Implant-Supported Dentures?

Typically, All-on-4 dental implants are less expensive than implant-supported dentures because there are fewer implants to place so you spend less time in the chair. However, you would need to talk to our dental implant specialist to determine the cost for All-on-4 dental implants in your particular case. Call today to schedule your consultation.

Dental Implants

What Is a Single Tooth Implant?

The implant is a metal, usually titanium, rod or screw that is surgically placed in the jawbone, where it becomes a part of the bone in a process called osseointegration. An abutment goes on the end of the post after osseointegration occurs, and then a single crown, bridge or denture attaches to the abutment.

What Does an Implant Cost?

The implant material, the health of your jawbone, and other factors determine the cost for an implant. Call us to schedule an appointment. We are happy to provide a quote; however, we cannot to so without performing an examination first.

Implant-Supported Bridge

How Can an Implant-Supported Bridge Benefit Me?

If you have several teeth missing that are all in a row, an implant-supported bridge can fill in the space with life-like teeth that have the biting power that you deserve, so very few foods are off limits to you.

What Does an Implant-Supported Bridge Cost Without Insurance?

Typically, your cost for an implant-supported bridge without insurance increases with each artificial tooth; a bridge with one tooth will cost less than an implant-supported bridge with three artificial teeth. However, a number of other factors determine the cost as well. Call us to schedule an implant consultation with an experienced local dentist or periodontist. He or she will examine your teeth and gums before giving you an estimated cost for your dental implant bridge.

Implant-Supported Denture

How Do Implant Supported-Dentures Work?

We surgically insert posts (implants) into the jawbone, where it takes several months for the bone to grow around the implant. Once this occurs, our specialist will add an abutment to the end of the implant and, if possible, we modify your existing denture with attachments that snap onto the abutment. You will be able to snap the implants off at night to clean under the denture and snap them back in each morning. Your overdenture (the denture) will not slip once it is snapped on.

How Can I Find Out What Implant-Supported Dentures Cost?

Make an appointment at our office and our implant specialist will go over your medical and dental history, examine your gums and take X-rays. One he or she has determined your suitability for implant-supported dentures; you’ll receive an estimate of your total cost.

Why Do People Go to a Periodontist?

When a person makes an appointment with a periodontist, they may need bone grafting, implant placement, gum contouring, or a deep gum cleaning. Periodontists are specialists in gums and the bone that supports teeth. If you need a local periodontist for any type of dental implant, don’t hesitate to call us for an appointment.
