They were able to get me in within 1 day and were very efficient. Doctor M was amazing. I didn’t feel anything during surgery, and today I do not have much pain. The whole staff was courteous and made sure you were comfortable. Doctor M explained the procedure and he and his staff went through after care procedures I need to follow. Great place and highly recommend Ideal Dental.

I started going to ideal last December and I absolutely love the staff and Dr. Mac is the best very caring and patient talks you through the process of whatever he is doing and is very caring on any pain you start feeling he will stop and make sure they numb you up appropriately! The front office and just everyone there is so awesome I love that this is my dentist from now on!!!

Thank you Ideal Dental San Marcos for your patience with me and helping me be comfortable with being at the dentist. Being a military brat had its perks, but having to go to a military dentist was not fun when I was younger. I admit I was scared and my times ant the dentist when I was younger still carried on with me. Dr. Makwana assured me I would be just fine and his staff was so helpful too in making sure I was taken care of. Laura, the hygienist, took care of me too & explained everything to me. Thank you all again for helping me with my fear of going to the dentist. 🩷

I am horribly scared of dentist from past experiences, but this place made all those fear melt away. They were attentive to my needs and emotions. The doctor listened to me and heard me when I expressed concerns about being numbed up. The staff were all super friendly and nice.

Love this dental office!! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Mac is AWESOME!! Very personable and caring. I really don’t like going to the dentist, but who does? I have anxiety every time. I have had to have some extensive dental work done recently. I love the staff and ease of the whole process! From scheduling my visits, having a Saturday option, friendliness, cleanliness, and care…all the staff is very professional. Dr Mak takes the time to explain what the issues are, options to getting them fixed and is very personable. He remembers my name, my family and adds just the best personal touch! I HIGHLY recommend Dr Mak and his staff at Ideal Dental in San Marcos TX!!

The staff at Ideal Dental of San Marcos are amazing. The staff were very professional and attentive. The Dentist that I had, Bhavik Makwana, was great. He had me at ease almost immediately. He listened to my needs, addressed them directly and he made the tooth extraction that I needed painless. I was so impressed with the staff I signed up for a year’s membership. Bhavik is definitely my dentist from now on!

So I was having a tooth ache and my face was swollen and I was in pain . This is the 1st time I have been to this establishment since my normal Dentist just retired last month . So with no recommendation from friends or colleagues I looked for different places around San Marcos this popped up but I had to check to see if they would take my insurance and sure enough they did . I was able to get in and seen and x-rays done and the staff was super friendly

This has been by far the best dentistry I have been too! I had been severely traumatized by a dentist as a child and Dentist Bhavik Makwana was very gentle and and eased my anxiety! He is the best!! 10/10

For an uninsured person, The pricing was fair and more than affordable for the basic care I needed. Staff was very friendly and interior was clean and comforting. Great experience for my first time back at the dentist in a few years. Will be back for my next check up!

For someone who does not like going to the dentist and does not have dental insurance. I highly recommend Ideal.. I’ve never felt more welcome and comfortable at a dental office especially on the first visit. Awesome experience!!! Knowledgeable, amazing, courteous friendly staff that embrace you the moment you enter the office. Great atmosphere, very clean and well kept. Dr. Makwana really cares about how you feel making sure your okay and comfortable and takes your needs and concerns to heart and does everything he can to build an experience and treatment plan that suits your needs and that works for you he makes sure you know exactly what’s going on with your teeth. They will work with you on pricing and creating a payment plan if needed so that you can still get the treatment and care your teeth need and deserve. I could not ask for better. I am looking forward to my next visit!!

Great experience with the new orthodontist! Very informative and let’s you know what the big issues are without being disrespectful. Super nice and helpful! He also let me know that he will be here for good so that’s really nice I’ll have him along my journey to getting healthier teeth. The staff overall have been kind and helpful which makes it a wonderful experience. They don’t try to scam you here. They honestly care about every patient.

I am so glad I found this dental office! After moving in the area from San Antonio, I really wanted a dentist office that was kind, productive, and affordable.
I found all three here. Unlike some other places, this dental office doesn’t try to get you work that you don’t need. They care about your health and wallet, and that means the world!
Additionally, everybody in the office is so nice! Right away, they make you feel wonderful and not just like you’re another number (they actually called me by my name). Today, I was helped out by Alexis and Dr. Mac, and they were great! They knew all the answers to my questions (trust me—I ask a lot), and they helped me feel so comfortable throughout my visit (going to the dentist Can give me anxiety sometimes—LOL).
If you need a dental office, I strongly recommend this place! Give it a try—you’ll be super happy. Thank you all for being so awesome!!
