As a general dentist, Dr Jang enjoys practicing a full range of comprehensive dentistry. She is proud to be a part of the team at Ideal Dental at Kessler Park. Dr Jang graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2018. Prior to her dental training, Dr Jang grew up in Plano, TX and earned the Bachelor's in Biology and the Master's in Biotechnology at University of Texas at Dallas. Finding joy and fulfillment in making positive impacts in others and serving the community motivated her to continue her studies in dental care. Her favorite aspect of being a dentist is building meaningful relationships with her patients. Dr Jang stays current with dental training through actively pursuing various continuing education. When she is not at the office, Dr Jang enjoys exploring Dallas, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Sung Han is a board-certified Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon who comes from a family of dentists. He developed an early interest in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery through his father. Inspired by before-and-after pictures of his father’s jaw surgery patients, Dr. Han also wanted to become an oral maxillofacial surgeon to help people using his hands.
He went on to receive his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University, graduating with Honors. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry in Michigan. He was invited to be a member of the OKU National Dental Honor Society and was the recipient of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) dental student award of his graduating class.
Dr. Han earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Southern California. Afterwards, he completed a 1-year General Surgery internship during which time he was nominated Resident Physician of the Month. He then finished his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center where his training focused on dentoalveolar surgery (wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting, and dental implants), oral pathology, anesthesia, facial trauma, and orthognathic surgery. His research during residency focused on in-office anesthesia and multimodal pain management.
Dr. Han is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Han is fluent in English and Korean. Outside of the office, Dr. Han enjoys singing (he was a member of a famous college A cappella group), cooking Thai and Japanese dishes, watching European soccer, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and dog.
