Ideal Dental Lakewood & Forney are amazing. I was suffering with jaw pain from cavities. I saw the dentist at the Lakewood location on a Friday and by the following Wednesday I had extraction surgery. They worked with me financially and were very concerned with my overall health. They are patient with their patients and their customer service is spectacular! I definitely recommend. Thank you guys!

I visited Ideal Dental Lakewood after more than 3 years away from the dentist. I had so much anxiety even just making the appointment, I’ve had bad experiences with dentists and feeling ashamed. But I recently quit smoking and I wanted to get my teeth right. And I’m so glad that I did.
I had a morning appointment and upon arrival, I immediately felt at ease. Ms Morgan checked me in and talked me through what to expect. She also clearly explained the costs – itemized, along with my insurance.
My dental assistant, Ms. Dianna, was very welcoming. She explained all of the new tech that’s been created since I last went. It was like being in a space ship – everything was so fast and Dianna scanned my mouth and made a 3D rendering of my teeth to explore with the doctor! She also entertained all of my oooohs and aaaaahs along with technical questions.
After the worlds fastest cleaning (of teeth that needed excessive scrubbing), Dr. Shah came in and looked at the scan with me and explained what he saw and his recommendations. I had four cavities – and was elated when he said they could fill them today.
In 90 minutes I went from embarrassed smoker teeth to “perfect” teeth.
If you’re putting it off, do it. You will not regret it, and the team at Ideal Dental Lakewood make it so easy. I’ll be back in 6 months for my superfast cleaning before work. Thank you for returning my confidence – I can’t stop smiling!

I had to come to this location after an unfortunate experience elsewhere. I had to had a crown seated. The last location had made the crown and this location was going to seat. They went above and beyond for me. They altered the crown so that it fit perfectly into my mouth. They were kind and very gentle! Dr.Nguyen was filling in and did a great job. Karina was gentle and was ready to go above and beyond to guarantee a perfect seating for me! I’ve found my new dentist. The whole staff was kind and courteous.

My pre-conceived view of going to the dentist was immediately changed when I came to Ideal Dental for a routine cleaning. Going to the dentist has typically been a negative experience for me, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The building and staff are very inviting and clean. I received excellent service from the Dr and staff, using top of the line dental equipment. The location is in a well established area of East Dallas (close to White Rock Lake) and I would recommend this practice to anyone seeking a local dentist!

Morgan the office manager was so professional presenting all my dental needs. Christina was so friendly and professional scheduling my appointment. The dental assistants taking my X-rays were so general, and we cannot forget the doctor! He was so thorough in explaining what I needed.

The staff was super attentive and sweet! I spent most of my time there laughing with the dental assistants. The doctor works quickly but efficiently, he was super gentle with me and would ask me occasionally if I needed breaks. I had never had a dentist visit be so pleasant. 10/10 would recommend!

Very professional and respectful staff. Upon entry I was quickly checked in and taken to back for dental work. Felt very comfortable throughout the whole procedure. They have very high tech machines that gives you a 3D visual of your teeth. The doctor recommended and explained procedures that works for you. You can tell they put a lot effort into cleanliness. Overall, I would highly recommend!

First time at ideal dental. The customer service was excellent! I had some concerns about insurance and out of pocket expenses and they took the time to explain every piece of my treatment plan with me. They were very transparent. Ideal Dental Lakewood is by far the BEST dental practice we have been to. My husband and I have been coming for a little over a year and we have no complaints. The staff is amazing and make sure that you have a great experience and do their best to make sure you get quality care. The office is always so clean. Our dentist leads with integrity and is honest and upfront about work that needs to be done. I have been to other dentist before that have exaggerated work that needs to be done in order to make extra bucks. So it truly has been refreshing to have great, and affordable dental care.
