So I was having a tooth ache and my face was swollen and I was in pain . This is the 1st time I have been to this establishment since my normal Dentist just retired last month . So with no recommendation from friends or colleagues I looked for different places around San Marcos this popped up but I had to check to see if they would take my insurance and sure enough they did . I was able to get in and seen and x-rays done and the staff was super friendly

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a dentist. I had initially went to Aspen, which was terrible. Aspen ended up being more of a McDentist than anything along with much high costs and far less love. From the moment you walk into Ideal Dental, everyone is incredibly kind and helpful. From the young ladies upfront, to the hygienists and dentists themselves. Reception/Front Desk is always very cheery and seem to have a fantastic attitude! Wonderful to talk to. I had to go twice for a couple of cavities, both Dr. Ricky and Dr. John were absolutely fantastic. I left with my teeth looking and feeling great. Also, everyone is ridiculously attractive! Not in a weird way, just everyone there looks very healthy and fit. Seems like they all take great care of themselves and each other. Such an excellent way to run a team. Very inspirational.
Klarissa is the cherry on top, it’s hard not to fall in love with her! She’s the best! -

We’ve always had amazing experiences here. The dentist and assistants are very nice and explain everything they are doing in plain English. The front of house staff are very nice, communicative around appointments and insurance, and flexible. They know all of their customers by face – as you’re walking up they’re already checking you in for your appointment and greet you by name. They work well with insurance providers and the out of pocket rates always seem fair.

Dr Basta and her staff are so friendly, and she explained everything that she was seeing/doing as the exam progressed, which I really appreciated. I definitely trust her clinical judgements and opinions. They provided me with options, but then let me decide what I wanted to do without ever pressuring me one way or another. Definitely recommend!

Staff was great as always! Leon was very gentle doing my deep cleaning. Dr. Merchant is very thorough and gave me the chance to ask questions if I had them or clarification if I didn’t understand something. Didn’t get the name of the lady who did my crown~but I could tell she’d been doing it a long time! Her every move was intentional and secure. That gave me~as the patient~comfort. NOBODY likes to be the patient but the Ideal Dental staff are top notch!

Dr. Trinidad was amazing. This is from someone who has had chronic issues with her teeth, and has had to suffer through many different cleanings. Some are good, some are just torture sessions. Her cleaning was great! One of my best. Pain-free and thorough, and she is knowledgeable and friendly! I highly recommend her, and this clinic. Gabby, dental assistant, was great, too!

Dr. John Kim was also friendly, pleasant and caring. He took plenty of time to review my situation and thoroughly explained things in an understanding way. He gave me the opportunity to ask questions and took the time to provide thorough responses. Dr. Kim provided multiple options for treatment moving forward.

Yes, everyone is nice, just like the other reviews claim. They were going to charge me 50% of my crown although it is fully covered. So, they called my insurance and did not charge me after all. That was awesome! I previously was going to change offices due to the horrible smell that made me want to puke. However, it seems that it has been taken care of. However, I noticed a trend. When I would make an appointment, whether it be in person or by phone, it always seemed to change when they would send me a text confirmation. It’s always by 30 min prior to my appointment or after. I usually just blow it off but this time I called for an explanation. I was told that someone with the same first name was scheduled at my time and I was moved 30 minutes later. The staff was nice enough to move it back but she said it was only for cleaning and not my permanent crown. She scheduled me anyways and may call me back if that doesn’t work. I didn’t even get an apology. So, we’ll see what happens!

I had a really great experience today! I went in for a cavity that turned out to be way worse than expected but Dr. Albright was able to get me started on a root canal today. Him, Esha, and Danielle were all very kind and answered all of my questions, as well as walked me through every step of my treatment plan. Danielle even helped me set up Care Credit for my treatment and helped me get everything started so I could be pain free. I will be recommending this office to everyone who needs a dentist!

Dr. Beverly Carr is by far the most knowledgeable and friendly orthodontist we have seen thus far for my daughter Mya. She treated her with utmost respect and made her feel very special and cared for. She made sure my daughter really felt comfortable and relaxed. I was very impressed with the way she handled my complicated teen! I am especially grateful with her dental assistant, Denise. She was so amazing! My daughter had a nose ring which needed to be removed for the panoramic x-ray. Denise took the initiative to remove the stubborn ring, which my daughter tried previously to remove herself, without success. Denise was super careful and patient with my daughter. I have never felt more cared for than today during our free braces consultation! Amazing teamwork, beautiful office, most professional dentistry with the best team of dentists and hygienists.
