The dentist was personable and kind. I have anxiety and he set my mind at ease. The assistant was knowledgeable and explained everything!. The technology used is up to date which was impressive. Only issue was my lip was busted which I didn’t mention. I was a little embarrassed to bring it up because they were so nice. I was not too happy with the front desk person, she could be more personable.

Went here with severe toothache a week before my wife was scheduled for surgery and was very nervous. Dr Walker and team immediately put me at ease with their funny office banter and confidence. They are very conscious of your comfort and make a point to ensure you are not experiencing any pain. Due to my emergency situation i had to book here because it was the only place that had the availability for me the day i needed it, but i have to pass 3 other ideal dental locations to get here. Needless to say, due to Dr Walker and teams (sorry i didnt get all your names) excellent customer service, personality’s, and overall good vibes office feel, my family and i will be passing 3 other ideal dental locations up to go to this one every time we need a dentist. Thank you all for your help, you rock!!!

Doc was great.. Girl that did floss was very rough and fast doing it. Like she was in a hurry to leave. Paid $19 for fluoride and she just brushed teeth in a hurry and got my face dirty while doing it. Very un professional and inconsiderate.

I’m the anxiety to the max dentist goer ??♀️ Dr. Walker and staff are definitely amazing at getting me thru my appointments. They are pleasant, understanding, professional and do amazing work!. I had to have some teeth pulled- the partial that was made – you literally can not tell ! I would highly recommend this office to anyone but especially those nervous about going to the dentist!!!

Overall GREAT experience!! My appt was @ 2:30, I was taken back to a room @ 2:45, not bad at all. The dentist was straight forward and honest with me and gave me several options. It was refreshing to go to a dentist and not feel like I was being pushed into spending my hard earned money to fatten someone else’s pocket. Honesty & Integrity are paramount and doesn’t go without being recognized in 2022. Keep up the good work Ideal Dental Potranco…it works well for you!!!

After being referred out to another dentist for a much needed root canal, I was left to figure things out on my own as my original dentist’s referral wasn’t getting back to me with an appointment. After a whole day wasted and no call backs. I finally called back and they gave me the run around. That’s when I found Ideal Dental. The coordinator was courteous and made an appointment for me, was seen a day later. Dr. Walker explained the process and let me know what to expect and even got started on the root canal the same day. I couldn’t ask for a better experience for a painful procedure.

Amazing staff and gifted hands. Extremely knowledgeable, with professional execution! I was not judged by my situation but rather welcomed with open hands. The procedure was extreme fast any thorough. I enjoyed conversation and support from my Dentist and all the assistance from the crew! Wish going to the dentist has always been this fulfilling! Job well done! Looking forward to my next visit! 6.5-5 bc it’s really that good and I’ve had more experience with dentists in the past 5 years than 97 % of people, so my opinion holds actual weight imo. Save yourself and go here!

The care was good but the wait time was not. The waiting room only seats 5 people at one time. Over booking patients seems to be a concern for this location. Patients had to wait outside, in their vehicles or directed to wait in the Starbucks next door until they receive a call to come in.

I have a general type of fear when it comes to going to the dentist, but the amazing staff and Dr. Walker made all that fear go away. They pulled a tooth and made it as comfortable as they could and I just want to thank everyone who made this such a pleasant experience. Highly recommend this place. 10/10

While on a short trip, one of my old fillings cracked. I had no dentist here in San Antonio, and I was in pain I could not stand. My husband called two names the concierge gave us and neither could see me. Greg called Ideal Dental Potranco and Dr. Walker got me an appointment time on the same day. He and one of his assistants treated me and made it possible for me to return home out of pain to my dentist that I was supposed to see in two weeks to get a crown on the tooth. Dr. Walker and his assistant were kind and concerned about my pain. I would suggest him and his staff to anyone as a personal dentist.

LOVE these folks! Started coming here ~ year ago after a multitude of nightmares at a different dentist, and since I’ve wondered why I waited so long to switch. This office is top notch, from always friendly and always responsive front desk staff, to fabulous techs and doctor. Everything is efficient, my time is respected (just finished 6-month exam with X-rays & cleaning. Including travel – albeit close to my house – it was an hour out of my day). So easy! Dr Walker is down-to-earth, friendly, and professional, as are all the staff I’ve encountered here. Everyone seems to genuinely enjoy what they’re doing, seem to feel valued by employer. If I was in the market for a job, I might consider applying here, as it appears to be excellent work environment. Of course, that trickles down to excellent customer service, which I appreciate, as a customer. If you’re in the market for an outstanding dental practice, give serious consideration to Dr. Walker & crew at Ideal Dental on Potranco!
