Originally from Wisconsin—and still a lifelong Packers fan—I have had the privilege of working in and serving the Arlington community for over 10 years. I live in Dallas, but the people, energy, and opportunities in our corner of DFW are close to my heart and I am proud to help our community.

Outside of Dentistry I’m into cooking, fishing, hunting, and (literally) running around Dallas. I’m also a proud geek about racing, cars, coffee, beer, and photography, but be careful if you’re crunched for time; I can talk your ear off about any of those.

I found Arlington after living, working and studying all over the country: College in Saint Louis, research outside Washington, D.C., graduate school in Miami, and dental school in Omaha, Nebraska. I’ve worked as a Dental Assistant, was a team manager behind the scenes at a dental school, performed composites research with the American Dental Association Foundation and was a class leader in Dental school. I now sit on a clinical advisory board overseeing dozens of other doctors and I’ve recently become a department director in our company.  

My path has taught me how to truly communicate with my patients and care for people from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of needs.

Dr. Aleena Jamal is a proud Texas native and compassionate general dentist dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. With a lifelong passion for serving others and improving oral health, Dr. Jamal is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

After completing her undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Jamal earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Texas A&M College of Dentistry. Her strong clinical training and commitment to excellence allow her to provide comprehensive dental care focused on both long-term oral health and beautiful, healthy smiles.

Dr. Jamal combines clinical expertise with warmth and approachability, helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their dental visits. She believes dentistry should be a collaborative and empowering experience, where patients are actively involved in their care and treatment decisions. Whether restoring smiles, providing preventive care, or helping patients maintain lifelong oral health, Dr. Jamal takes pride in delivering personalized care tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.

Meet Dr Daniel Rangel, a highly experienced orthodontist.

Dr Rangel embarked on his professional journey at Loyola University Chicago School of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Continuing his quest for excellence, he pursued further education at the prestigious University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where he also taught dental students as an Associate Professor of Orthodontics. During this period he completed his residency and obtained a Master's Degree in Dental Science (MDS) in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Armed with extensive knowledge and experience, Dr Rangel specializes in handling complex orthodontic cases, consistently achieving outstanding results. Dr Rangel generously shared his knowledge and expertise as an Associate Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.

Dr Rangel enjoys his free time with his wife who's a Dentist and a Masters Degree Physician Assistant in the Dallas area and visiting their four sons who are in every coast of the country. For over a decade, Dr. Garrett Nelson has been practicing oral surgery in the DFW area. Dentistry is in his family as he is a fourth-generation dentist. Dr. Nelson’s brother is an orthodontist in the Houston area and his father continues to practice dentistry at 72 years of age. Dr. Nelson is committed to the delivery of the best oral surgery treatment and experience possible.Dr. Nelson’s clinical experience includes implant dentistry where he utilizes the very latest technology in planning and delivering the very best in clinical care.Dr. Nelson studied dentistry at UCLA and studied medicine at Texas Tech. He is a native of Los Angeles but came to Texas to settle down as his new home. He completed his Oral Surgery training at Baylor in Dallas and continues to serve the oral surgery program as an Associate Clinical Professor for over ten years. Many of the current dentists throughout Dallas were once his students.Dr. Nelson has four children and lives in Frisco where he enjoys golf, travel, snow skiing and serving his church and community. His newest hobby is running several half marathons a year with his wife, Rachel.

Dr. Tony Tran was born and raised in sunny Southern California. He attended University of California, Santa Barbara for his undergraduate studies in biochemistry and continued on to study dentistry and graduating with honors at Temple University. Throughout dental school, he made tremendous efforts and provided exceptional dental care to the underserved community of Philadelphia and continues to do so through community outreach efforts.  Dr. Tran’s philosophy includes providing compassionate and comprehensive dental care for patients, educating them on best oral health care practices that empower them to improve their self-confidence, build connections, and maintain a high quality of life. Since dentistry is constantly evolving with new advancements, he firmly believes that providing exceptional evidence-based dental care requires continuing education. He always strives to ensure his patient’s experience is both positive and productive and that they all leave with a smile.  Outside of the office, Dr. Tran enjoys spending quality time with his family, friends and his furry friend, Leo. He loves to explore other cultures and cuisines, whether through traveling or just by grabbing a bite at the restaurant down the street.

Dr. Breaud was born in New Orleans, that’s the reason Texans have a hard time pronouncing his last name (Bro). He moved to Lubbock, Tx when he was 3 weeks old, so he can’t claim to be a Texan but he got here as soon as he could. After growing up in Lubbock, he decided to see the world, so went to the University of Texas in Austin and then on to Dallas where he attended Baylor College of Dentistry and specialize in Orthodontics.

After school, he joined his father’s orthodontic practice back in Lubbock. Shortly after moving back to Lubbock he met and married the love of his life, Diane, and her 2 sons. He has 2 grandsons that he is so proud of. Dr.Breaud decided to move back to Dallas to be closer to his oldest son, Rob, the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks.

He loves orthodontics and getting to know all of his patients and their families. Being in someone’s life for a couple of years, lets him really get to know them and be an intricate part of their lives. Dr. Firas Yafi is a distinguished dentist and board certified periodontist with more than two decades of experience in advanced periodontal and implant dentistry. Known for his surgical expertise, innovation, and dedication to patient care, Dr. Yafi helps patients restore their oral health, function, and confidence through personalized, comprehensive treatment.

After graduating from dental school in 2000, Dr. Yafi pursued advanced training in periodontics and oral surgery, developing extensive expertise in complex procedures including dental implants, bone regeneration, soft tissue and bone grafting, and full mouth rehabilitation. His experience allows him to provide treatment ranging from single dental implants to comprehensive implant solutions for patients with more complex needs.

Dr. Yafi has a particular focus on advanced implant and surgical care, including All on X implant rehabilitation, which can help restore an entire arch of teeth through comprehensive surgical planning and treatment. Dr. Abdo Ismail, DDS, MS, is a board-certified periodontist dedicated to providing advanced periodontal and implant dentistry with a focus on precision, compassionate care, and long-term oral health. Born in Geneva, Switzerland, and originally from Libya, Dr. Ismail completed his dental education at Modern Science and Arts (MSA) University in Cairo, Egypt, graduating in 2009.

Driven by a passion for restorative dentistry, Dr. Ismail continued his education in the United States, completing a Restorative Preceptorship at UCLA in 2011. He later pursued advanced training in periodontics and implant dentistry at the University of Kentucky, completing a fellowship in 2019 followed by a three-year periodontal residency. During his residency, he served as Chief Resident and earned his Master of Science degree in 2023.

Dr. Ismail is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology. His commitment to advancing periodontal care has also led to published research in respected dental journals and recognition with the Billy Pennel Award from the Southern Academy of Periodontology in 2022.

Dr. Ismail chose dentistry because it combines science, precision, artistry, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. He became especially passionate about periodontics because healthy gums and supporting structures are the foundation of a healthy, functional smile. As a periodontist, he provides specialized care focused on periodontal health, dental implants, preserving natural teeth, rebuilding lost oral structures, and improving the function and aesthetics of patients’ smiles.
