Dr. Zakia Azzo is a certified dentist who has been practicing General Dentistry since 1990. She specializes in restorative fillings, fabrication of fixed and removable prosthodontics, Invisalign treatment, and implant crown restoration. Dr. Zakia Azzo graduated first from Damascus University, College of Dentistry in 1990, and the University of Texas with a Masters Degree in Public Health in 2013 and received a post-doctoral certificate in Dental Public Health from NYU Lutheran in 2015. In addition, she is a member of many associations such as the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Public Health Association. Dr. Zakia Azzo believes all communities should have access to quality dental care and has selfless passion for providing this crucial service with a smile.
Dr. Charmi Solanki is a board certified Periodontist, and she is dedicated and compassionate towards her patients. She loves to motivate her peers and inspire others. Dr. Solanki received her Master of Science in Dentistry at Indiana University and completed her Periodontology Internship at the University of Florida where she honed her periodontal surgical skills with expertise in minimally invasive soft tissue surgeries. During her residency, she was exposed to various treatment modalities that kept her abreast with her specialization. She also received specialty advanced training from Dr. Pat Allen.Dr. Solanki is married to her best friend and is blessed with the world's best daughter. She also has a "purry" friend named Laxmi. Dr. Solanki is a car enthusiast who enjoys auto detailing. In her free time, she is devoted Orangetheory Fitness. She also enjoys exploring nature, trying out new cuisines, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Pedersen was born in Iowa, but grew up in the small town of Dunlap, Illinois. After graduating high school, he returned to Iowa where he received a B.A. in Biological Chemistry at Grinnell College. Dr. Pedersen then moved to Washington DC to attend Georgetown College for a Masters in Tumor Biology with an emphasis on oral cancer research. Shortly after completing his M.S., he moved to Chicago where he attended the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. Dr. Pedersen then attended an Orthodontics specialty residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, NY for three years, learning multiple approaches to early interceptive and comprehensive treatment styles.Dr. Pedersen is very passionate about orthodontics and loves being able to make his patients proud of their smiles. After completing orthodontic treatment as a preteen, he realized the positive impact that aligned teeth had on his self-confidence. This, in turn, inspired him to share that joy with others as a career. Since completing his training in Orthodontics, Dr. Pedersen has helped hundreds of patients improve their smile aesthetics. For Dr. Pedersen, it’s not just about transforming a smile, he strives to deliver the best clinical care to improve his patient’s quality of life. Dr. Pedersen is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and actively attends continuing education courses to stay in tune with new research and advanced treatments in the orthodontic field.
Dr. Breaud was born in New Orleans, that’s the reason Texans have a hard time pronouncing his last name (Bro). He moved to Lubbock, Tx when he was 3 weeks old, so he can’t claim to be a Texan but he got here as soon as he could. After growing up in Lubbock, he decided to see the world, so went to the University of Texas in Austin and then on to Dallas where he attended Baylor College of Dentistry and specialize in Orthodontics.
After school, he joined his father’s orthodontic practice back in Lubbock. Shortly after moving back to Lubbock he met and married the love of his life, Diane, and her 2 sons. He has 2 grandsons that he is so proud of. Dr.Breaud decided to move back to Dallas to be closer to his oldest son, Rob, the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks.
He loves orthodontics and getting to know all of his patients and their families. Being in someone’s life for a couple of years, lets him really get to know them and be an intricate part of their lives. He has years of experience with braces and Invisalign, so you can be confident that he can improve your bite and smile.
