Dr. Melissa Cano Sanderson grew up in Brownsville, Texas. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition at The University of Texas at Austin and her Doctor of Dental Surgery at UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry.
Dr. Cano Sanderson entered the dental field because she wanted to help make a difference in people’s lives by helping them achieve healthy and beautiful smiles. Her favorite aspect of dentistry is being able to use her hands, as well as both science and art to transform smiles, all in effort to promote good oral health which contributes to good overall general health.
Outside of the office, Dr. Cano enjoys exploring the outdoors and playing sports with her husband, spending time with family and friends, and trying out different restaurants around the city.
