Dr. Tatum Przilas was born and raised in the small town of Lone Oak, Texas, with its quaint café and friendly locals to match. She grew up riding horses and learned to drive by pulling a trailer.
After becoming valedictorian of her class, she applied her full-ride scholarship to UT Dallas for her bachelor of science in biology and achieved her dream of becoming a dentist by attending Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.
Even after living in the big city, Dr. Przilas stays true to her roots by treating her patients like family. Understanding the apprehension that comes with seeing a new dentist, she strives to build long-term relationships with her patients through compassion and empathy. Her favorite thing about walking into the office every day is helping her patients regain confidence in their smiles by tapping into her artistic side to create something beautiful, functional, and comfortable.
Outside of caring for her patients, Dr. Przilas (soon to be Dr. Louie) enjoys cooking with her fiancé and searching for the best restaurants in town. In her efforts to become a true Houstonian, she’s always excited about suggestions for any hidden gems! On a rainy day, you can find her with a good book and a cup of hot tea with her Labradoodle, Walter, curled up at her feet. She also loves holiday festivities, drive-in movies, Malbec wine, antiques, all things DIY, country music, playing tennis, and traveling. So far, her two favorite adventures have been her engagement to her better half at the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland and a mission trip to provide dental care to the sweet people of Jamaica.
