All four wisdom teeth, IV sedation by an oral surgeon, complimentary pre-op visit $1,875 flat through August 31. A $,4000+ value.
Most guests are back to normal in 5–7 days.
All four wisdom teeth extracted + IV sedation. How we care for you:
Your oral surgeon reviews your panoramic x-ray, walks you through the procedure, answers questions, and confirms you're a candidate for IV sedation.
Actual time can vary, but plan for about 90 minutes at the office. You'll be under IV sedation for the procedure, which takes 45–60 minutes. An adult drives you home.
Most guests need 5–7 days. The first 24–48 hours are the most uncomfortable; ice and prescribed medications. By day 4–5, most are back to normal activities.
Included in your package with no additional fee. Our caring staff checks your healing progress and answers any post-recovery questions. Your health is our #1 priority.
Most wisdom teeth removal in the U.S. ranges from $1,500–$3,500 for all four teeth with IV sedation, depending on case complexity and provider. At Ideal Dental, summer 2026 pricing is $1,875 flat — all four wisdom teeth, IV sedation by an oral surgeon, pre-op consult, and post-op visit included. Cash-pay only; valid through August 31, 2026.
Most oral surgeons recommend extracting wisdom teeth before age 25 — and ideally before leaving for college. Two reasons: (1) wisdom teeth roots are still forming in late teens, which makes extraction simpler and recovery faster; (2) recovery is much easier at home with family support. Summer before freshman year is the ideal window.
Yes — when performed by a credentialed provider with proper monitoring. At Ideal Dental, IV sedation is administered by a provider holding a state-issued IV sedation permit, with continuous monitoring of blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels. Emergency equipment is on-site and staff are ACLS-certified. IV sedation is the most common approach for wisdom teeth removal because it keeps the procedure comfortable and the patient completely still.
Most guests are back to normal in 5–7 days. The first 24–48 hours are the most uncomfortable. By day 3–4, most teens are eating semi-soft food and feeling close to themselves. By day 7, the post-op check happens and most resume full activity.
For the first 24–48 hours: cold and soft food only — smoothies (no straw), yogurt, applesauce, mashed potatoes, ice cream. Days 3–5: warm soft food like pasta, scrambled eggs. By day 5–7 most are back to normal. Avoid straws, smoking, and hard food for the full first week.
Plan for 3–5 days off school or work. Day 1 is the procedure and rest. Days 2–3 are the most uncomfortable. Days 4–5 most guests are functional but tired. By day 5–7, most are fully back. This is why summer is the ideal window — no academic conflicts.
Most dental and medical insurance plans cover a portion of wisdom teeth removal, especially when teeth are impacted. We'll verify your benefits at no charge. Note: the $1,875 summer offer is a cash-pay flat price separate from insurance.
No referral needed at Ideal Dental. Bring any recent panoramic x-ray you have; if not, we'll take one at the pre-op visit. The consult is complimentary.
